Intelligent Recruiting
- Do you know what questions to ask?
- Are you relying on friends and teammates who were recruited to be experts?
- How do you get reliable and current INFORMATION that is specific to YOUR college athletic goals?
- And does it come from someone who has no hidden agendas?
Intelligent Recruiting began as an idea from a Division I coach who saw that parents and student athletes had no clue where to begin with the college recruitment process. Our college seminars includes accurate, up to date information about the college recruitment process, admissions, athletic scholarships, and the National Eligibility Center (formerly the NCAA Clearinghouse);
that's a given. But we also cover other topics that are just as important, including:
- Besides scholarships, what are the differences between NCAA Division I, II and III schools and how does that directly impact me?
- As a "consumer", I have gotten used to finding the best deal for me. But with so many variables, how can I chose the right college for me?
- In this age of the internet, what should I be doing (and not doing) online to increase my chances of catching a coach's attention?
- What are some of the things that a college coach is NOT telling me during my recruitment process that I should be asking about?
- What does it mean when they say "college athletics is a business"--how will that change my experience?
- My first priority, and of course, the coach's first priority is to
see me earn my degree, right? (Not always....we'll tell you why)"
